Word of the Day 17 - 起きる

起きる（おきる/okiru）means to get up, rise, or to wake up. It can also mean to occur (usually not so great incidents.)

ジョイ！起きなさい！
(Joi! okinasai!)
Joy! Get up!

でもでも。。。つかれたー。。。
(demo demo... tsukareta.../but but... I'm so tired...)
